1.Safety: Bulgaria is one of the safest places in Europe. While crime is far from eradicated, the country enjoys a safe environment for tourists, who are rather welcomed in tourist destinations.

2. Dress code: apart from the full-face veil ban, there are no specific requirements or standartized norms about acceptable dress code.

3. Documents: while it is extremely rare to be stopped by a police unit on the street, everyone is nevertheless required to carry a valid ID at all times.

Belogradchik day tour Amazing tour and the hotel pick up and drop off makes it extremely convenient. Our tour guide made the car trip there and back much more enjoyable with his knowledge. It is worth the price!

This tour is a must!!! We are extremely happy with our tour to the cliffs and the cave. Avi, our guide, was amazing, funny and very knowledgeable! She picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation. We’re a family of four- 2 adults, 11 yo and a 9yo. The ride to the Belogradchik cliffs was approximately 3 hrs. We traveled in a large, comfortable , air conditioned van. We enjoyed seeing the countryside of Bulgaria during the ride. Stunning nature! The Belogradchik cliffs were breathtakingly beautiful! You get to go all the way to the top via staircases. I have a fear of heights, however, with Avi’s help I felt comfortable going up and I am very grateful to her! That is to tell you, that for most climbing up would be a piece of cake.After a lunch break in a restaurant with views of the cliffs, we headed to Venetsa cave about 20 min away. It’s a really cool cave to explore!This tour is a must!! We’re very happy with our experience!

Fantastic day out The pick up point was really convenient. Our driver was brilliant, very smooth ride, very informative and took us to places with good toilets . The rocks and cave were absolutely amazing and beautiful, well worth a visit. We’d highly recommend this trip.

Absolutely worth it and a must-do in Bulgaria The highlight of our Bulgaria trip! We were worried about whether the experience would be worth it considering it is about 3h30 drive from Sofia (so 7h both ways), but it was absolutely incredible. The rocks/fortress are incredible but the best part is the view at the top of them, simply breathtaking! Pictures don't do it justice at all.Our driver and guide Ventsislav was so great and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the rocks, fortress and the good spots for pictures or interesting facts. The experience also felt very private in a way as you share it with a group of 5-7 people, so that's an added bonus.We ended up visiting the Magura cave as the Venetsa Cave was closed, and it was very impressive and enjoyable. Absolutely no negatives about the day overall and well worth the time and money.10/10, absolutely recommend and a must-do!

Nice view of the entire valley This is amongst one of the famous attractions in BulgariaThe old fortress is covered with cobblestones walk pathsThere are two major steel-plated stairways to climb up to the top(which is approximately 30 steps or so) but the gradient is quite steep which is not suitable for visitors with mobility problems The rock formation is quite interesting as it gives you a different perspective when the sun comes out and also depends on the different times of the day. It is quite picturesqueUpon reaching the top(approximately 20 minutes of climbing you will have a birds-eye view of the entire valley
