Rila monastery is part of Unesco World Heritage and is the first and most important monastery in Bulgaria. The frescoes at the main church are fascinating masterpiece of the best Bulgarian painters from 19-th century. After lunch we will start with the wine tasting at Medi Valley. Traveling more to the south we will dive into the vine yards of Melnik region. In the smallest town in Bulgaria – Melnik, we will visit Kordopulova’s house which was built especially for producing wine. Of course we will try the local wine.
On our way to Plovdiv we will enjoy the breath taking views of Bulgarian nature. A few kilometers before Plovdiv we will stop at Ustina winery for another wine tasting. In Plovdiv you have an option for dinner in traditional restaurant.
After a morning walk in the old Part of Plovdiv we will head to Starosel winery, where we will have lunch and wine tasting. For a great finish of the tour we will visit Koprivshtitsa.
